Junior is Reed Vestal Ranches' Director of Herd Management. Relocating from Texas with his wife Landri and daughter Aisley, Junior joined us at our Kansas Ranch in 2024. With him, he brought over two decades of experience in the show cattle industry. Over the span of his career, he has shown, judged, advised, and managed livestock. As an exhibitor and advisor alike, Junior has seen his fair share of success in the show ring at the highest levels.

After livestock judging two years at Howard College, Junior finished up his college education at Tarleton State University. Immediately thereafter, he joined Adam Potts at Potts Show Cattle to help grow the platform and absorb as much he possibly could from one of his closest mentors. After a few years, Junior struck out on his own and began Garcia Livestock, where he specializes in American and European influenced show steers. Simultaneously, he was the Herdsman and Show Cattle Manager of JRM Land & Cattle.

At Reed Vestal Ranches, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and oversees the welfare of our ranch and herd. Junior levels up our game at RVR and gets us closer in achieving our ever-elusive goal of being THE premier show cattle producer in the industry.
